An updated Open Space Study and Playing Pitch Assessment was undertaken in 2017. The Open Space Standards Paper recommends local standards and the Playing Pitch Strategy recommends using the Sport England Toolkits to calculate the requirements for planning applications or alternatively, the amount of contribution payable in lieu of that provision to the Council. Further guidance will be set out in the Developer Obligations SPD.
