A new grants programme will be shortly announced to encourage businesses to improve the effective deployment of ICT and broadband. A series of events, some very small and local, will be held across the sub-region to showcase the opportunity and to allow businesses to access the grants package. These small events will be matched by two large events per annum, one in the South (Derby probably) and one in the North (likely to be Buxton) as "Expos".
