Food Hygiene Courses
Anyone who handles open food should be trained in food hygiene principles. The Council offers businesses training in the nationally accredited foundation in food hygiene. Training courses are held at various times throughout the year and costs £45 per person (discounts available for larger bookings). Peak District Foods (External website**)
Peak District Cuisine encourages Peak District Chefs to use local produce through the 'Peak District Cuisine' branding to display on their menus and publications, to let customers know that they are proud to use local produce. Any pub, hotel, restaurant or B&B in the Peak District can take part in the project and apply for branding for dishes on their menu as long as the main ingredients are grown or locally produced in the Peak District.

Great Peak District Fair (External website**)
The Great Peak District Fair is a combination of produce market, cultural activity, tourism promotion and trade fair at the geographical centre of the Peak District, which takes place annually in October at Pavilion Gardens.
