The Council has reviewed its Corporate Equality Plan and produced a new Corporate Equality and Diversity Scheme incorporating the existing Gender, Race and Disability Equality Schemes. The document is a comprehensive scheme covering our approach to equality, specifically in terms of disability, race, religion, age, gender, and sexuality.

The consultation period will end on 30 June although the Action Plan shows that we are already working on tasks that have been identified.
