You should have received a form to ensure that the people in your household are included on the Register of Electors. You can fill in your form and send it back by post in the normal way but you can register quickly and easily by phone using 0800 197 8648.
Use this service if:
- The information about your household is correct
- There is no one to add
- There is no one to take off
Also use it if:
- The information is correct but you want to change whether people in your household are included on the Edited Register of Electors.
- The information is correct and you want us to send you a form to register for a postal vote.
Don't use this service if:
- You want to add or take off people from your household
- You want to make other changes

- a telephone with a star key (*)
- both Security Codes printed on your form

- Listen carefully and follow the instructions
What is the Edited Register?
Everyone in your household must register to vote and will be included in a full version of the Register of Electors. Use of this register is very strictly controlled.
Another version register is also published which is made more widely available. This is called the Edited Register of Electors. You can ask for your name to be taken off this version.
