This is followed by a cycle stage around the Peak District's beautiful reservoirs. The run then goes out from the pool along mainly quiet local roads around Glossop. The New Mills Triathlon takes place on Sunday, September 28. It starts with a 400m swim in an four-lane, 25m indoor pool at New Mills Leisure Centre. This is followed by a cycle along the Goyt Valley and out into the edge of the Peak District, finishing with the run around New Mills. During and after both events, there will be a market place of triathlon related exhibitors for goodies you never knew you needed, to help you become a better triathlete! The grand finale will be a prize giving, celebrating everyone making great achievements in their Xtra Mile!
