Charlesworth & Chisworth Cricket club is located at Bankfield, Charlesworth (Behind the recreation playing fields), and was founded in 1861.
There are two senior sides that play matches on Saturdays from April to September in the Derbyshire & Cheshire Cricket League, and junior sides for under 17s, 15s, 13 and 11s that play midweek evenings, and have qualified cricket coaches to develop their abilities. There is also a over 40s social side. Senior practise nights are held at the ground on Thursday evenings from 6.30pm.
We have recently built two artificial all weather practise net areas with grants from ECB/Sport England, that are used from training/practise nights.
New players and spectators are welcome.
