We aim to share information about opportunities in sport for disabled people, raise the profile of disability sport and influence mainstream organisations to include this level of information.
Relay races, Team Games, Parachute Games, Boccia, Table-top activities are just a few of the activities on offer at two new clubs at Buxton Community School. The clubs are dedicated to disabled people (male/female) and also open to siblings of disabled children. The clubs are run by an experienced and qualified coach. Details for the clubs are as follows:
Junior Multi-sports Club (8-15years)
Fridays 6pm-7pm

Also there is a senior multi-sports club at Alderbrook Day Centre. Details are:

A new football club at Buxton Community School is now running. The club is for male players 16yrs+ of any ability. The club, a pan disability club is open to any disabled players. Details for the club are:

Venue - Buxton Community School, Sports Hall
Buxton Community School is now an accredited IFI site. The fitness suite is an accessible facility for disabled and non-disabled people to workout together. The site has purchased accredited equipment, eg. Hand bikes with swing away seats, equipment with easy to use programmes, brightly coloured contrasting handles. Staff have also received specialised training to support disabled people in the gym. The facility has accessible parking, changing facilities/toilets, information in alternative formats etc.

Mon-Fri: 5pm-9pm
Saturday: 9am-5pm
Sunday: 9am-8pm
