Glossop Rugby Club nestles at the foot of the Nab Hill on the road from Gamesley to Charlesworth in a peaceful, bucolic setting which makes the club a wonderful place to play and watch rugby whether you're 7 or 70 or somewhere in between. We have wonderfully well drained pitches, state of the art floodlights and a new clubhouse with state of the art function suite, community rooms and meeting spaces.
There are 4 senior teams with the 1st XV playing at Level 7 in Midlands 3. An excellent coaching team works on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6.45pm and spectators get in free to Saturday afternoon fixtures.
And we have a thriving Minis, Juniors and Youth set up that uses the club from 10 am on Sunday mornings from September to April. Qualified coaches work with individual age groups from Tots and Under 7s through to Under 17s and the priorities are fun and involvement for everybody. There is a place in Rugby for people of all sizes, shapes and levels of ability and every one of the 270 children registered at the club is valued as an individual with loads to offer.
