Glossop & District Table Tennis League was founded in 1910, and still continues to provide a competitive environment in which to play table tennis in Glossop and surrounding areas. The League currently has 28 teams, split into three divisions, and, during the playing season - which runs from September to March - matches are held on a weekly basis at a variety of venues in, and around, Glossop.
Membership is open to anyone, irrespective of age, who wishes to play competitive table tennis as a member of a team within the League. In the event of a membership enquiry from someone having no current connection with any existing team, the League will make every effort to find a team to which that person might be affiliated.
More information about the League can be found on its website (External website**).
The League's Development Officer, Mike Flynn, 01457 763 589, or the General Secretary, Vernon Hyde, 0161 432 0734 will be pleased to provide information and advice about opportunities for learning, improving and playing table tennis.
