Within the realms of pigeon racing, Old Glossop Homing Society is only a small club.
However, it gives our members a great deal of satisfaction and enjoyment on most weekends throughout April to September, when most of the racing take place.
One must remember, though, that pigeons, like all animals, must be cared for properly 365 days a year. A pigeon, just like your cat or dog, does not know if it's Christmas Day or any other day, and it must be fed, watered and looked after in the proper manner.
