If you are sociable, active, want to meet new people and are willing to use your skills to make a difference, then you might want to get in touch with the Rotary Club of Buxton.
We meet regularly at the Buckingham Hotel in Buxton, on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays each month, at 7pm. Typically, we have a meal, followed by a speaker and a short business session. Additionally, we engage in a wide range of social, service and fund-raising events.
Membership is open to men and women, who actively hold, or are retired from, a professional, proprietary, executive or managerial position. Our motto is "Service above Self" and we seek to help others locally, nationally and internationally in various ways – but we enjoy ourselves at the same time.
Although Rotary membership is by invitation, don't hesitate to indicate an interest, with no obligation on either side. The Rotary Club of Buxton is one of Rotary International's 32,000+ clubs around the world. As a Rotarian, you would be made welcome at any Rotary Club worldwide.
