High Peak School Sports Partnership – Partnership Development Manager
Role:
- Manage the High Peak School Sport Partnership.
- Ensure that ALL young people are included in the partnership’s physical education and sport programme.
- Develop links with key local partners to ensure Partnership Development Plan is part of the wider strategic and sustainable development of PE and Sport.
- Ensure that the work contained in the partnership development plan complements strategic planning in schools and links with local education, sport and health priorities.
- Work with key partners to identify funding opportunities.
Athletics Community Sports Coach
Role:
- To increase and improve the quality of athletics in school settings;
- To develop and promote links from schools to local athletics clubs; and
- To increase the knowledge and confidence of others interested in athletics coaching, including teachers, other coaches and young leaders.

Role:
- Co-ordination of Community Coaching Programme
- Co-ordination of Walks for Health Initiative
- Co-ordination of Healthy Lifestyle Initiatives
High Peak Outdoor Community Sports Coach
Role:
- To lead orienteering, climbing and problem solving activities within designated settings
- To support teachers involved in the programme to develop their skills
- To identify and work with new volunteers

- To increase fitness and dance provision for young people in High Peak (with a specific target of Key Stage 4 Girls (ages 14-16)) by delivering a co-ordinated programme of curricular, extra-curricular and club based fitness and dance.

Role:
- Manage the Community Sports Development Plan for Buxton and surrounding area
- Manage school sports facilities
- Create links with and develop community sport in the Buxton area
St. Philip Howard Catholic School, A Designated Specialist Sports College – Community Sport Development Officer
Role:
- Develop community sport in the Glossopdale Area
- Manage the school sports facilities
- Manage and implement the Sports College Community Sports Development Plan in the Glossopdale Area
Gamesley Community Centre Co-ordinator
Role:
- Manage and co-ordinate activities at Gamesley Community Centre
- Develop the facility to meet the needs of the community
- Work with Gamesley Healthy Living Centre and Regeneration Programme
Derbyshire Disability Sports Development Officer
Role:
- To increase sporting opportunities for disabled people, including developing competitive pathways
- To support the development of opportunities for disabled people to become involved in the decision making of sport in Derbyshire
- To support the development of fitness facilities across the county to become inclusive.
- To work with partners to ensure disabled people have access to facilities and opportunities and also the information about these sporting venues/opportunities.
Safer Communities through Sport – Youth Sports Development Officer
Role:
- Co-ordination of Safer Communities through Sport Project
- Co-ordination of Street Sports Initiative
- Co-ordination of Team Mates Programme
