High Peak Borough Council is part of a Derbyshire wide initiative to promote safety at fireworks displays and bonfires. You are encouraged to receive guidance from the Council and the local Fire Brigade.
Trading Standards at Derbyshire County Council advise on legislation regarding sale of fireworks and issue licences in respect of sales.
If you wish to complain about antisocial behaviour eg letting fireworks off in the street, please contact your local police.
If you want to store fireworks on your premises please contact the Trading Standards Unit (External website**) at Derbyshire County Council. They are responsible for the issue of licences.
