
High Peak Borough Council is part of a wider Derbyshire Partnership, which provides the Supporting People Programme for Derbyshire (**external website). The Supporting People Programme is responsible for the commissioning and regulation of supported housing services. Such services provide housing related support to vulnerable people from a wide variety of backgrounds, including older people, women fleeing domestic violence, people leaving prison, young people, as well as several other groups.

Floating Support is available to help people in the High Peak to live independently by assisting with issues such as applying for benefits, setting up utility bills, and debt advice. Support can be tailored to individual need and be once a week or more if needed.
