Where should I leave my bulky items and when will they be collected?
All electrical items are collected fortnightly on a Friday on a separate collection service. The items to be collected should be left at the front of the property where you would normally present your wheeled bins for collection. Please note we are unable to enter your property to collect items.
If your property has a communal collection point, electrical items should be left outside your property, at the front for easy access.
The cut-off time for arranging these types of collections is at 3.30pm on the Tuesday before the Friday collection.
If you can’t physically move your electrical items because you are disabled, please contact Social Service at Derbyshire County Council who should be able to help you.
