Delays in the mowing of some verges and public places

Due to the long periods of heavy rainfall, combined with periods of warm weather, our Grounds Maintenance teams are experiencing difficulty in mowing some verges and public open spaces.

In some areas - to avoid damage to the verges - it may be necessary to leave particularly wet areas uncut for a time to enable the ground to dry out.

Please be assured that our teams are working hard  to resolve this, and where possible, additional resources have been  deployed to assist in restoring the areas to the standard we would like.
