Connect 4 Life is a free service for people in Gamesley, who have no existing long-term health conditions. It is a programme which offers you a personalised health service by a life coach, who will work with you for six months to make some positive changes in your life.
To take part, you have to be aged between 40 - 64. For more information, either ask your family doctor or phone the Connect 4 Life Coach (Viv) on 07971 072320. Viv is based at the Gamesley Community Centre.
The next six-week course will run at Gamelsey Community Centre each Wednesday, from Thursday 5 June, 2008. Dates are:

We provide counselling and support to smokers wanting to quit, complementing the use of stop smoking aids along with 1-2-1 counselling and group support. For more information, please call us on 01457 869145.

If you are a Gamesley resident, you can sign up for a loyalty card and you’ll be able to take advantage of reduced prices, priority bookings and special offers. Loyalty cards are currently free – thanks to funding. Signing up is easy – complete our simple online form, and next time you visit, you'll be able to collect your card.

We do not allow under-16s to enter the building without direct adult supervision, unless attending a specific organised session.
Awards for all is a lottery grant programme, aimed at local communities. If you are planning a project that enables people to take part in Sport, Art, Heritage and Community Activities, then Awards for All may be able to help.
Awards for All may also support projects that promote education, the environment and health in the local community. You could receive between £500 and £5,000 for your club, organisation or voluntary group.
A number of sports clubs, schools, voluntary groups and organisations in Purbeck have received an award to develop a variety of projects relating to health, reducing crime and disorder, education, art, heritage, and sport.
