Information for Parents
- Parents may view lessons from the pool balcony or viewing area but not the poolside.
- If parents wish to speak to swimming teachers regarding their child, please do so through the Teacher’s message book.
- Please ensure that you update the reception staff with any changes to your contact details.
- Programming of the lessons involves a great deal of organisation, as all children need to be assessed before the new timetable is completed. We do try to group family members close together, but with so many children on the programme this may not be possible, as classes of the required ability may not take place at that time.
- We may be required to change courses or teachers when necessary.
- Courses may be subject to cancellation if there is insufficient demand following
enrolments. Transfers will be offered where possible.
- Owing to Child Protection issues, parents must stay with children while they are changing, before and after each lesson.
- Would parents please note that ‘trunks and one piece costumes’ are preferable for
learning to swim and that swim hats are to be worn where necessary or alternatively
the hair tied back.
- Refunds are ONLY given on receipt of medical proof. This will be done in the form of a credit towards future courses. All medical information will be treated in confidence with the utmost sensitivity.
- Anyone who requires an alternative day or time to the one given, may change if a place is available. Or alternatively, you may swap on the day designated (subject to availability). Ask at reception for further details.
Re-Enrolment
We provide information on the re-enrolment on:

If you are unable to attend during re-enrolment week, then please ask at reception about leaving payment to secure your child’s place.
