Your Neighbourhood

We work hard to improve the quality of life in the High Peak and support regeneration through working with partners in the public and private sectors to bring new uses to unused sites, create an enviornment which supports business growth and retension, and helps to provide opportunities for local jobs and greater prosperity. We provide information to support local businesses and seek to involve local people and businesses in regeneration of towns and villages. Through our partnerships, we work to increase available funds for projects within the High Peak. We also support projects within Council co-ordinated programmes that require a helping hand. We have a Regeneration Strategy, setting out a strategic path for economic and physical regeneration.
