High Peak Borough Council offers a number of grant schemes that are available to sports clubs, voluntary organisations and community groups, including:
This is a grant scheme available to voluntary organisations and community groups who provide services, facilities and activities to improve the quality of life for residents of the High Peak. The Community Fund Small Grants Pot’ is available for organisations to apply for funding from Tuesday, 1st April 2008.
Please read the Community Fund policy document for guidance on how to fill in the application form. Grants from the Small Grants Pot will normally be up to a maximum of £500. Organisations can apply online, or download and return a completed application form. All submitted forms will be acknowledged within 14 days.
The first round awards for 2007-2008 were made in September and the successful organisations were awarded £500 towards the costs of their projects, as shown below:
The second round of applications for the Small Grants Pot opened on 1 October 2007 and closed on 30 November 2007. The successful applicants are shown below:
The total allocations for the year from the Small grants Pot amounts to £5,775.
The current round opened on Tuesday 1 April 2008 and closed on Saturday 31 May 2008. The successful applicants are:
The next round commences on Monday 1 September 2008 and closes on Sunday 30 November 2008. All applicants will be notified of the results in March 2009.

These grants are to provide support to volunteers, who either live in the High Peak, or do voluntary work in the Borough, to enter into leadership for the first time, or to develop skills of existing leaders so they can broaden their skills, or progress up the coaching pathway.
These are to provide support to schools, clubs and voluntary organisations in the High Peak, in order to develop sport and recreation opportunities. Details of these schemes, and how to apply for them, are found in the Sports Development Grant Schemes section.
