A new community group set up by Whaley Bridge Town Council in 2011 aims to propose, define and implement small to medium size projects across the 4 wards of Whaley Bridge – Furness Vale, Taxal, Yeardsley and Fernilee.
This new group is taking forward some of the ideas identified by the Regeneration partnership (2005-2010), as well as putting together a new list of priorities and projects for Whaley and its four wards. Visit the website (external website**).
The main aim of the projects is to directly benefit the residents and businesses in the four wards of Whaley Bridge, through projects which improve the Town centre and other areas.
If you are a local organisation or individual and want to become involved then simply contact Martin Thomas, Secretary, Whaley4Wards martinlthomas@aol.com or come along to next meeting Agendas and Minutes

The partnership works with other groups in town to support environmental improvements, as well as initiatives to help the town’s residents and retailers.

We will then ensure that your suggestions are passed to relevant partners or services to look at these in more detail.
