Area Forums - High Peak residents making local decisions that matter!

What are Area Forums?

Area Forums are a joint initiative between High Peak Borough Council, Derbyshire County Council and the Peak District National Park Authority to ensure that local people are better informed about how local services are run, and to allow residents to get more involved in making decisions.

We have recently reviewed the format and content of our Area Forums to see whether this is still an effective means of consulting and engaging with local residents and have not held any forums since the review commenced in 2010. The results have been reported to the Executive and will be considered after the local government elections in May. The details of the forums held in previous years are shown under each area.

There are four Area Forums:

These meetings have been open to everybody living or working in the High Peak.
