
The Derby and Derbyshire Economic Partnership (External website**) is one of seven Sub-regional Strategic Partnerships (SSPs) set up by the East Midlands Development Agency (EMDA) in 2003.
DDEP’s aim is to stimulate, develop and bring forward a range of sustainable economic opportunities in Derby & Derbyshire and improve the prosperity and overall environment for businesses, communities, individuals and visitors.
DDEP have part-funded a number of projects in the High Peak supported by the Peak District Rural Action Zone that forms the rural focus of the overall economic partnership.
The Peak District Rural Action Zone currently has a Leader business grant scheme in operation until 2013.
