It is about 16 years since the last carnival was held in Dove Holes and its revival was one of the things, which was mentioned in the public consultation project, held a few years ago under the Village Plan.
The organisers are in contact with the Police, St John's Ambulance and other organisations. Most events, apart from the procession, will be held in fully licensed premises.
This is held annually, in aid of Buxton Mountain Rescue, and takes place at the Dove Holes Community Association.
This takes place at the Dove Holes Community Association, just off the A6 main road out of Buxton. For more details, visit www.dovejazz.co.uk (external website**) or call Roger on 01298 814722.
