The school holidays mean free swimming for all children under 16 in the High Peak this summer.
The borough council's pools at Buxton, Glossop, and New Mills are offering free swimming from Monday 24 July to Sunday 3 September during public swimming sessions.
The normal junior swim rate is £1.30, so families whose children swim regularly will make a massive saving.
Councillor John Pritchard, High Peak Borough Council's Executive Member for Community and Social Development, said: "The free swimming offer is aimed at encouraging youngsters to keep fit and healthy during the summer. I hope that they will take the opportunity to improve their swimming skills, whilst having fun with their friends."

Children over 8 years may swim without an adult if they can swim 50 metres (2 Lengths) in a recognised stroke.
