New Mills Leisure Centre is running a weeklong timetable of activities for people over 50 as part of our Active 4 Life programme.
The programme runs from 17 to 21 July and all of the sessions only cost £1 each.
In the pool, activities include snorkelling, water workouts, fast swims, quiet swims and Seedooos (aqua scooters, which allow people to travel up to 4.5 km per hour above and below the water).
The sports hall activities include badminton, table tennis and trampolining.
The Active for Life club is for people over the age of 50, who are interested in gentle exercise to maintain and improve their health.
Coffee and biscuits will be served in the lounge on Monday and Friday between midday and 1 pm.
Councillor John Pritchard, High Peak Borough Council's Executive Member for Community and Social Development, said: "I hope that people who have not tried the Active 4 Life sessions will take up the opportunity to come along and them a try."
Some of the sessions must be booked in advance. Please contact New Mills Leisure Centre on 01663 745424 or email new-mills-leisure@highpeak.gov.uk for further details. Alternatively, visit the leisure and culture section at www.highpeak.gov.uk.
