The sessions will include coaching and a mini tournament to finish off. Book early to avoid disappointment by calling New Mills Leisure Centre, tel: 01663 745424 or Chapel Leisure Centre, tel: 01298 811733.

Councillor Andrew Bingham, Chair of Central Area Forum said: "This coaching programme not only improves the skills of young people in our area but gets them together in a safe environment during the long summer break. The programme is in addition to the wide range of activities that High Peak Leisure Services are offering as part of their 'Summer Sizzler' programme over the coming weeks."

The 'Going Local' Initiative forms part of the Area Forum programme covering all of High Peak Borough. Each Forum area has been allocated an improvement fund of £10,000 to be implemented over the summer months with a focus on 'Cleaner, Greener, Safer' themes.
