Gamesley Community Centre is offering an instructors course for anyone interested in teaching aerobics within High Peak.
A limited number of funded places at £395 are available for Gamesley residents. Otherwise the cost of the course, which is usually £800, is £450.
The certificated course is nationally recognised and is approved by the Royal Society of Arts and the YMCA.
The course starts on Saturday 6 October and continues on 7, 13, and 14 October, and 3, 4, 17 and 18 November. The sessions start at 10 am and finish at 4 pm.
Candidates will receive a theory assessment on the 25 November and a practical assessment on 2 December 2007.
Councillor Andrew Bingham, High Peak Borough Council's Executive Member for Social and Community Development, said: "High Peak Borough Council wants healthy and vibrant communities. So if you are enthusiastic about fitness, and enjoy a challenge which will benefit your neighbourhood then this could be the course for you."
