Children's swimming lessons are still available for next term at Buxton, New Mills and Glossop Pools.
Beginner's classes, which are suitable for children of school age, help to build confidence at first and then progress to learning recognised front and back strokes.
The lessons, which are provided by fully qualified Amateur Swimming Association swimming teachers, cost £46.00 for a twelve-week course.
In addition, specialist one-to-one tuition is also available at all 3 pools at a cost of £13.00 per lesson.
If classes become over-subscribed, children's names will be placed on a waiting list.
Councillor Andrew Bingham, High Peak Borough Council's Executive Member for Social and Community Development, said: "It is never too early to start learning to swim. Please contact your nearest borough pool to find out about lessons."
