High Peak Borough Council is running a competition to find any budding photographers who would like to see their pictures on the Council's website and publications.
Photographs can be of High Peak landscapes, local people, shops, businesses, towns and villages - anything that represents the High Peak.
(Please make sure you have permission from the people you photograph, agreeing to their photos being published -- especially make sure you have written permission from the parents of anyone under 18 before taking their photos).
The top three photographs, judged to be the most outstanding, will win the following prizes:
The competition, which closes on Thursday 31 January 2008, will be judged by local professional photographers, Karen Frenkel, Linda Bussey and Robert Morris.
