Waitrose has recalled a batch code of its Shortcrust Mince Pies because of the possible presence of pieces of plastic within the product.
Waitrose has recalled the affected batch from sale and product recall notices have been displayed in all of their stores since 12 December. These notices will advise customers of the reason for the recall and the actions they can take if they have already purchased the affected product.
The product recalled is: Waitrose Shortcrust Mince Pies, packed in boxes of 6, production code: 289* AN1 BB 03 JAN.
No other Waitrose products or batch codes are known to be affected.
