High Peak Borough Council has launched two exciting health promotions to help local people to get into shape for the New Year at a local leisure centre near you.
Glossop Leisure Centre will be running Move it to lose it - a six-week trial membership, offering unlimited use of the fitness suite for only £30.If you then decide to join after six weeks, you can get up to 20 per cent discount, along with two months' free membership.
New Mills Leisure Centre is offering Resolutions 2007 - throughout January, it is offering a seven-week Gym and Swim pass for £50.This offer includes a free joining fee, worth £10, a free gym induction, worth £10, and a personalised gym programme, tailored to your individual, specific needs.
Councillor John Pritchard, Executive Member for Community and Social Development, said: "These are great promotions and a good incentive for anyone who wants to get fit and healthy. Both leisure centres offer a friendly and supportive environment in which to exercise, with promotions that provide excellent value for money - right on your doorstep."
