Young people with an artistic eye may be able to help Glossopdale Sport and Recreation Forum to design a logo and help promote their group.
The forum is offering a prize of £50, donated by St Philip Howard Catholic Sports College, to the designer of the best logo.
The forum is made up of many local sports clubs, with representatives from a diverse range of sports including cheerleading, cricket, crown green bowling, football, hockey, judo, sailing, swimming, table tennis, tennis and many others.
Members of the group include St Philip Howard Catholic Sports College, High Peak Borough Council, High Peak School Sports Partnership, Derbyshire Constabulary and local community groups.
The forum meets regularly and gives local clubs the chance to exchange information about good practice, form links and initiate change.
Chairman of Glossopdale Sport and Recreation Forum, Jim Parker, said: "I can"t think of a better way to have our logo designed. We are looking forward to seeing the competition entries."
The competition, which is open to young people aged 18 and under, closes on Friday, February 9, 2007.
