Residents are being invited to a community presentation to view details of plans for an exciting new play area at Shirebrook Park.
The presentation will be on Tuesday, February 6, in the Lecture Theatre at Glossopdale Community College, Talbot Road, Glossop, from 6.30pm to 7:30pm.
The £90,000 scheme has been carefully planned - thanks to ideas put forward by Shirebrook residents, who took part in a postal questionnaire last summer.
At the meeting, a visual presentation of the design layout, which includes play equipment and a multi-games area, will show residents exactly how their suggestions from the questionnaire have been used.
Councillor John Pritchard, High Peak Borough Council"s Executive Member for Community and Social Development, said: "We were delighted by the response of Shirebrook residents to last year"s questionnaire. As a direct result of their contributions, we have been able to design a play area, which really does meet with the requirements of the community. Please come along and look at the exciting plans next Tuesday."
