Residents are invited to look at a range of proposed improvements for Whaley Bridge Memorial Park at a community evening, organised by High Peak Borough Council and Groundwork Derby and Derbyshire.
The community evening will be held at at Taxal and Fernilee Primary School, in Reddish Road, Whaley Bridge, on Monday, 12 March at 7pm.
This follows an initial meeting, held in February, when the community gave their views about how they wanted the park to be developed.
Residents will be able to see how their ideas have been included in a bid, submitted to the Heritage Lottery Fund Parks for People programme, by High Peak Borough Council, in partnership with Groundwork Derby and Derbyshire.
The Parks for People programme has been developed jointly between the Big Lottery and the Heritage Lottery, to ensure that every community has access to a well designed and managed public park.
Councillor John Pritchard, High Peak Borough Council's Executive Member for Community and Social Development, said: "Come along and see how your ideas are being used to help us plan for the future of the Memorial Park."
