Easter action at High Peak leisure centres

Keep your children active this Easter with the fun-packed programme of activities provided throughout the borough by High Peak Leisure Services.
Buxton Spa Pool
Please book in advance for the many activities for children at Buxton Spa Pool, including:
- snorkelling on Tuesday 3 April, 9am-10 am (cost £3);
- Seadoos on Wednesday 4 April, and Friday 13 April, 10am-11am (cost £5);
- canoeing on Wednesday 11 April, 10am-11am (cost £5);
For the 4 to 8 year olds, there are:
- Superstars sessions on Tuesdays 3 and 10 April - swimming and sports for 2 hours for £3.50;
- Art Attack on Thursdays 5 and 12 April, 9.30am-11am (cost £3).
For the under-fives, there are Bouncy Castle sessions on Thursdays 5 and 12 April, from 1.30pm to 3pm (cost £1.50).

Glossop Leisure Centre
Glossop Leisure Centre is offering a range of activities, including:
- a three-hour five-a-side football competition for 12 to 16-year-olds on Tuesday afternoon 3 April, at just £10 a team; and
- an Easter egg hunt for four to six-year-olds on Thursday 5 April, 2pm-3pm (£2.50).
The Glossop team will host:
- a Zoolab rainforest road show for five to nine-year-olds on Tuesday 3 April, 1.30pm-2.30pm (£4);
- a bike ride along the Longendale trail on Tuesday 10 April, 10am and 3.30pm (£4 plus train fare); and
- a skipping workshop on Thursday 12 April, for four to seven-year-olds (£1.50);

Glossop Pool
At Glossop Pool,
- Aqua Scooter sessions will be held on Monday 2 April, Wednesdays 4 and 11 April, and Friday 13 April, 9am-10am (cost £5);
- the ever-popular inflatable sessions will be held on Tuesdays 3 and 10 April, 9am-10am (cost £2); and
- snorkelling sessions on Wednesdays 4 and 11 April, 10am-11am (cost £3).

New Mills Leisure Centre
There is plenty of action at New Mills Leisure Centre for children of all ages. Please book in advance:
- Messy Mayhem for four to seven-year-olds on Monday 2 April, 9.30am-10.30am (£3.30);
- Children, aged seven years upwards, can take part in a two-hour activity session on Tuesdays 3 and 10 April - activities will include table tennis, squash and badminton (£4.70 per session).
- Swimmers, aged eight years and above, can canoe on Wednesday 4 April, 12pm-1pm, and Friday 13 April, 9am-10am and 10am-11am (£3).
