Gamesley Community Centre Partnership is inviting younger residents, with their parents and carers, on a free trip to Portland Basin.
The trip, paid for by the Big Lottery Fund, will be on Thursday 5 April, and young people attending should meet at Gamesley Early Excellence Centre at 9.30am.
After arriving at Portland Basin, in Tameside, at 10am, there will be a walk around the museum, followed by a visit to a canal boat and then a slow walk around Portland Basin.
The event is open to parents and carers with children, aged three to 11 years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring a packed lunch.
