Your views invited on new Hadfield skate park

Date: 06/11/2007

High Peak Borough Council is going to provide a skateboard park in Hadfield and is asking residents to choose the most suitable location.

There are three preferred sites for the new skateboard park: Bankswood Park, Newshaw Lane and Roughfields.

To help residents decide which location they would prefer, the Council has prepared an online consultation form, together with maps and information about the three sites.

Councillor Andrew Bingham, High Peak Borough Council's Executive Member for Social and Community Development, said: "The council is keen to provide a skateboard park in Hadfield, and we want to make sure that it is located in the best spot. So please take part in the consultation and let us know your preferred site."

Residents, who would like to take part in the consultation, should visit our Skate Park Consultation pages online at www.highpeak.gov.uk/consultation/SkatePark/. You can submit your views using the online form on the link page or by emailing customer-services@highpeak.gov.uk and marking your email subject line, Hadfield Skate Park Consultation.

The closing date for the consultation is Friday 23 November 2007.
