A free business breakfast workshop to support new, growing and established engineering and manufacturing businesses, will be held at the Pavilion Gardens in Buxton on Tuesday 11 December between 8am and 11am.
The event, which has been organised by High Peak Borough Council and the Peak District Rural Delivery Pathfinder, will give business leaders vital information about local support services and provide an opportunity to network.
Over twenty business-support organisations will be available to give representatives advice. Exhibitors will include: the Manufacturing Advisory Service, Derby and Derbyshire Economic Partnership, Business Link East Midlands, the University of Derby, the Business Advice Team, Derbyshire Constabulary and many more.
Councillor Tony Kemp, High Peak Borough Council's Executive Member for Regeneration said: "The Council is committed to supporting local business and industry, and this event will help them to develop and prosper. Even long-established businesses may not be aware of, or have no time to find out about the help available - much of it free or subsidised. By hosting a wide range of support agencies together in one event, we hope to make it easier for them to find out how they can benefit."
