Young people are invited to take part in free sports sessions on Friday evenings at Chapel-en-le-Frith Youth Club.
The sessions, which are being run by High Peak Borough Council and Derbyshire County Council's youth service, follow the highly successful scheme held in the Memorial Park in the summer, where as many as 50 young people at a time came along to join in the fun.
The activities, which are led by trained sports coaches, are open for boys and girls aged between 13 and 19 years old. No booking is required for young people who can take part in a wide range of sporting activities.
Councillor Andrew Bingham, High Peak Borough Council's Executive Member for Community and Social Development, said: "I am delighted that the sports sessions are continuing in Chapel. The summer scheme confirmed the enthusiasm of young people, who like to spend their spare time in such a healthy, constructive and fun way. So, if you are bored on a Friday evening come along and join in."

The sports sessions will run until Friday 16 November 2007.
