Holiday Fun at Glossop Leisure Centre

Despite the school holidays falling after Easter, Glossop Leisure Centre has lots of exciting activities planned for this year's Spring break. If you're looking for some fun activities to keep the family occupied during the next two weeks of school holidays, then why not pay them a visit.

Catering for children from 4-16 years, the programme kicks off on Monday 7 April and runs until Sunday 20 April.

Holiday activities include:

Monday 7 April
9.30am-12.30pm'Kick Start Chaos' (7 - 11 years)
Three hours of supervised fun to kick-start the half term, starting with a full range of organised games such as bench ball and cricket followed by crafts in the lounge. (£6)
Monday 14 April
1pm-2.30pm'Pink and Glitter' (6 - 11 years)
A popular session filled with girly fun.
(£3.50 - booking essential).
1pm-2.30pm'Lads Afternoon' (6 - 11 years)
A chance for the boys to do some sports - fun sessions include rugby, cricket and much more.
(£2.25 - booking essential).
Wednesday 16 April
2pm-3pm'The Ultimate Bird of Prey Show' (4 years +)
Session includes flying the birds in a controlled environment and the opportunity to hold/touch them. (£3.50 each or family ticket for 4 only £12.00).
Starts at 10am, 11.30am and 4pm'Fitness Camp' (11 - 15 years)
Supervised fitness sessions by fully qualified instructors including sessions in the fitness suite, cardiovascular exercise, resistance, balance and co-ordination workouts, hurdles, ladder and sports sessions. (Each course £20 - limited places so booking essential).
Thursday 17 April
9.30am-10.30am'Dodgeball' (7 - 11 years)
Early morning wake up with some team fun playing dodge ball and bench ball in the sports hall.
(£2.25 - book now to secure your place).
Friday 18 April
9.30am-4pm'The Full Works' (8 - 13 years)
Fully supervised day of activities at Glossop Leisure Centre and swimming at Glossop Pool. Children bring their own lunch and they must be able to swim two lengths in a recognised stroke. Children walk to Glossop Pool (supervised). Parental release form needed.
(£10 each or £9 for two siblings - book now for this popular session!).
