Gamesley Holiday Spectacular starts next week!

Despite the school holidays falling after Easter, Gamesley Community Centre has lots of exciting activities planned for this year's Spring break. So, if you're looking to keep the family occupied, fancy getting involved in a local gardening project or perhaps you'd like to become a qualified First Aider, then look no further!

The programme, which starts this Monday 7 April runs throughout the Easter holidays until Friday 18 April:

Wednesday 9 April
9.30am-3pmFamily trip to Manchester Museum, Play and Learn Exhibition.
Please meet at Winster Mews car park. Limited places available. This session is open to Gamesley residents only - £1 per person.
Saturday 12 April
9.30am-4.30pm 'Appointed Persons First Aid Course' at Gamesley Community Centre.
Please book for a place on this course - only £15.00 for Gamesley residents and £25.00 for non-residents.
Monday 14 April
10am-4pmTrip to Cannon Hall Farm.
Community Centre - a wonderful family trip to see some farm animals. All children must be accompanied by an adult. £2.50
Tuesday 15 April
10am-3pmBike Ride on the Longdendale Trail (9 - 13 years).
A supervised bike ride down the trail and back. Bike and packed lunch are essential. Appropriate clothing must be worn. Meet at Gamesley Community Centre.
£1.00 for Gamesley residents and £5.00 for non-residents.
Wednesday 16 April
1.30-3.30pmCommunity Garden Project.
Make a positive contribution by helping with the upkeep of the garden. All gardening equipment provided.
The event is free so please just turn up on the day.
Thursday 17 April
9.30am-3.30pmTrip to the Museum of Science and Industry.
An exciting family trip to this Manchester museum. Meet at Gamesley Community Centre. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Limited places available. £1 per person.
