We had a fantastic response to our photography competition, with more than 200 images submitted.
The first prize goes to Cathy Wilmot, from Glossop, who took this photograph of her grandchildren in Howard Park in Glossop. She wins four tickets for Buxton Opera House and four £25 vouchers for meals at the Old Hall Hotel (worth a total of £100).
The second prize goes to Ray Fowler, from Castleton, who photographed this snowy scene at Dunscar Farm, in Castleton. He wins four tickets for shows at Buxton Opera House.
The third prize goes to Tony Raven, from Ripley, for his photograph of the head of Kinder Downfall. He wins two tickets for shows at Buxton Opera House.
Congratulations to the winning entries, some of which will now be used in helping to promote the area. A big thank you to everyone who took part in the competition.
Special thanks also go to our judges, Karen Frenkel and Andrew Eyley, who are local photographers based in the High Peak. Some more of the entries will soon be appearing on this website - so keep checking back!
