People in Buxton -- including Dove Holes -- and the Central area (Whaley Bridge, New Mills, Chapel, Hayfield and Chinley) have the opportunity to put forward suggestions on how their local areas should be developed over the next 20 years.
Residents and businesses are invited to attend the next round of Area Forums in May, when discussions will take place on affordable housing, creating jobs, public transport, global warming and improving local landscapes and buildings.
All area forums begin at 6.30pm, when refreshments will be available. The meetings will start at 7pm and finish at 9pm.
High Peak Borough Councillors and staff will be on hand to answer questions, listen to views and take note of any suggestions.
Councillor Jonathan Davey, Buxton Area Forum Chairman, said: "It is important that local people, businesses and other interested groups take the opportunity to voice their opinions. If you are unable to attend you can always submit a question or comment for inclusion at the meeting up to three days before the event."
Councillor David Lomax, Central Area Forum Chairman, said: "There will also be the opportunity to talk to local Councillors and Officers, informally, about any local issues and get an update on the Going Local environmental projects. Once again, we have secured £10,000 for the local area and we would like your views on how it should be spent."
Both venues at Buxton and Central Area have wheelchair access and a hearing loop.
