The annual Sett Valley Fun Run will take place on Sunday, September 21, 2008.
To raise fitness awareness, Peak Fitness and New Mills Festival are inviting everyone to take part. All the runners will receive medals and refreshments.
The race, which follows the Sett Valley Trail, will start from New Mills Leisure Centre at 10:30am.
Each participant can choose between a five-mile return run to Hayfield or a three-mile run to Birch Vale and back.
To take part in the event, you should register at new Mills Leisure Centre at 10am on the day of the race. Registration forms are available now from New Mills Leisure Centre. The entry fee is £2. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Andrew Bingham, Executive Councillor for Social and Community Development, said: "This is a wonderful opportunity for all the family to have fun and keep fit, and a terrific way to spend a Sunday morning. Why not pick up your registration forms now, so that you are all set to take part on the day?"
