There will be no black wheeled bin or green-lidded wheeled bin collections on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Years Day.
Households that would normally have a black bin collection on Christmas Day or Boxing Day will receive a collection on Saturday 27 December. Households that normally have a black bin collection on New Years Day will receive a collection on Saturday 3 January.
Households due a green-lidded bin collection on Christmas Day will receive a collection on Saturday 27 December. Those due a green-lidded bin collection on Boxing Day, are asked to wait until Friday 9 January for their next collection. Households that would normally receive a collection on New Years Day, are asked to wait until Thursday 15 January for their collection.
There will be no green box recycling collections on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Years Day. Please look at your recycling calendars to see when your collections will be.
Please do not put Christmas cards or wrapping paper out for kerbside recycling.
Christmas cards and wrapping paper, which are not foil-based, can be placed in the green-lidded wheeled bins.
Christmas trees can be taken to designated recycling points, which will be listed in the local press and on the High Peak Borough Council website: www.highpeak.gov.uk in January.
