How to recycle your Christmas tree

Once again you are invited to help the environment by having your Christmas tree recycled. All trees will be chipped and composted.

Please do NOT place Christmas trees in the green wheeled bins -- instead, please leave your used Christmas trees at the following recycling points between January 2nd and 25th, 2009:

Please note: There will be no tree collection point at Corn Mill Car Park in Manor Park, Glossop this year - please use the alternative site at Pyegrove Road Recreation Ground Car Park.

The tree recycling points will be clearly marked. Please can residents ensure that all decorations/tree wrapping etc are removed from trees before taking them to the collection points.
