The Friends of Whaley Bridge Memorial Park are inviting residents to a coffee morning this Saturday, 9 February.
The event, which is to raise funds for the Friends of Whaley Bridge Memorial Park, is taking place between 9.30am and 12 noon at the Mechanics Institute on Market Street in Whaley Bridge.
As well as enjoying a refreshing cup of coffee, supporters will be able to buy a few treats from the cake stall and take part in the raffle and tombola.
Helen Roberts, Chair of the Friends of Whaley Bridge Memorial Park, said: "The Friends group are keen to make improvements in the park and events like this help us raise funds to do so. We are always looking for new members so why not call in and have a cup of coffee and find out more about the group."
