Last chance to promote your business in the Mini Guide

Date: 05/02/2008

This is the last chance for businesses to advertise in the 2008 High Peak Mini Guide, which will give information on all towns and villages in the Borough.

This new magazine-style guide is aimed at visitors already in the area and suggests how they might enjoy their time. It will also provide information on where they can eat and drink.

The A5 sized magazine will complement the Peak District and Derbyshire Visitor Guide.

The guide will replace all other town guides and leaflets previously circulated by the Council. 80,000 copies will be produced and will be available free of charge at many places throughout the High Peak from mid-March.

Councillor Tony Kemp, High Peak Borough Council's Executive Member for Regeneration, said: "The Council is keen to promote the High Peak to visitors and holiday-makers; we also want to encourage a thriving economy for businesses. The Mini Guide will do both".

A limited amount of advertising space is still available and those interested in promoting their business in the Mini Guide, should contact Viv Grosvenor in Economic Development on 0845 129 77 77 / 01298 28400 extension 3522 for further details.
